Pepper the Robot: The Battle Against COVID-19

In the following article, Devesh, Sweta, and myself have explored the use of a AI-based robot, Pepper, against the seemingly ever-lasting global pandemic of 2020.
The article discusses how existing features of this robotic companion can be modified and upgraded to better equip Pepper in aiding our front-line healthcare workers with the addition of provided accurate diagnosis of COVID-like symptoms. This diagnosis complies with the Government of Canada's online Screening Tool questionnaire.
We hope that this article provides some insights to currently existing issues with AI-integrated robots that are intended for social care and our proposals for correcting them.
